REVIEW: Mauve Outta Here – Wet N’ Wild Megalast Lipstick

Hey beauties!

By now you probably all know how obsessed I am with the Megalast lipsticks from Wet N’ Wild if you’ve been following me on this blog for a while now. So I have another lipstick review for all of you because you guys have really been liking my posts with lip swatches for drugstore lippies. And before we get into the review, don’t forget to leave me a comment down below letting me know if there is a lipstick you want me to do a post on and swatch for you in case you’ve been debating whether or not you want to get it for yourself. Let’s get started!

DSCF5573 copyLike every other Megalast lippie, Mauve Outta Here is pigmented and super long lasting. The consistency is also the same, not as creamy as you would want it to be but for one of the cheapest drugstore lipsticks it is far from unbearable. Just moisturize your lips properly before hand and you’ll have no problem with application. Later on in the day, you may want to add a bit of lip balm because the lipstick can be drying after several hours.

The bottom of the lippie describes Mauve Outta Here as a flamboyant rose color and I agree 100%. It is a loud, fun color but at the same time it’s a very wearable pink shade with a strong purple undertone.

For those of you with a great big love for pink this will be a great addition to your collection but if you have really dry or easily agitated lips, this line of lip colors isn’t for you. Till’ next time loves! MUAH!!!

Bye beautiful little Dreamers!

  1. Thanks for this review. I’m always looking for awesome bright pinks like this one. I call them “Pretty in Pink” pinks since it references back to Molly Ringwald pink lip colors back in the 80’s movie Pretty in Pink. I’ll be looking for this one this weekend.
