REVIEW: Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balms

Hey beauties!

Revlon is not a brand I own many products from, I have around maybe five or six things from the brand. However, I have found a new love for their chubby crayon matte balms a.k.a REVLON COLORBURST MATTE BALMS. The two colors I own and will be reviewing for you are called Sultry and Standout each retailing for $6.99 at Target.

TOP: Standout Lip Swatch – BOTTOM LEFT: Sultry & Standout Swatches – BOTTOM RIGHT: Sultry Lip Swatch

Sultry really lives up to its name since it gives the lips a very sexy and subtle color that still makes the lips eye-catching in a natural way due to it being a matte. It’s almost as if your lips are blushing when you have it on because of the deep rosy color.

Standout is almost a complete opposite. It really does standout like a red lipstick should do, but I wouldn’t say the color itself is anything special because there are definitely other matte red lippies that give the same exact color. What I would say you should buy it for is the awesome fact that even though these lipsticks are matte they are moisturizing and don’t dry your lips.

OVERALL: Recommended

Both apply smoothly and evenly, and the color will stay true until you start munching. The packaging is sleek and smooth- no complaints there. If you are not into the crayon type lip products, this is not for you. Although, taken everything into account, everyone should give these a try.

Drugstore brands have for sure been stepping up their game so don’t overlook them because they’re giving the high-ends a run for their money. And be sure to check out these awesome crayon lipsticks because they truly serve to impress. Can’t wait to bye more!

What is your favorite drugstore goody as of yet?

Bye beautiful little Dreamers!
